Milan men’s fashion week recently concluded. The world’s best designers presented their latest Fall 2023 menswear collections. This fall season proved that the most demanding men need the best tailoring as fashion brands designed incredible pieces for gentlemen, who like looking cosy, but at the same time stylish. Everything from suits, coats and tailoring was popular among the style trends.
Luxury fashion brands drew attention to their fine line between art and fashion. They mixed masculine and feminine colours in their collections, as well as texture and colour. They showed these refined ensembles in a mix of navy, white, nude, black and silver. One example is Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn-Winter 2023.24 collection. Their clothes were perfectly tailored in a masculine sea of black.
However, designer Givenchy’s Fall-Winter 2023.24 collection included several pieces in a monochromatic colour palette. This closet featured assorted tailoring, green, purple and pink jackets splashed with paint. In addition, plaid skirts worn by inventive wearers were fused with worn knitwear.

FENDI
Fendi presents its latest Autumn-Winter 2023.24 collection, which highlights the power of texture. This is showcased in comfortable coats and ponchos, cashmere tracksuits, oversized waistcoats, fluid trousers, scarves and mohair blankets.there is also a focus on sleek silhouettes, with asymmetric fashion classics and deconstructed shirts revealing flashes of fur. Of course, the iconic “it” baguette bag is a must.


SAINT LAURENT
Saint Laurent explored the fine line between fashion and art with his latest Autumn/Winter 2023-24 collection at the Paris Stock Exchange (Musée de la Collection Pinault). A palette of black, white, nude, navy and silver dominated the entire collection. The Autumn/Winter 2023-24 collection also mixed masculine and feminine motifs. Flow was one of his trademarks and clean dressing was his focus. There are floor-hugging coats, sharp hooded items and knitted tunics with extended collars.


DOLCE & GABBANA
Designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana have unveiled their latest Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2023/24 collection, which explores the essence of the brand. The collection, which took place on 14 January during Milan Fashion Week, also explored the purity of volume, innovative proportions, tailored cuts, Italian fabrics and silks, and handmade craftsmanship. Reviving elements from its Autumn/Winter 1999/00 collection, the Italian luxury fashion brand presents microtops, double-waisted trousers, girdles, corsets and bandage constructions. “This has nothing to do with minimalism, but it has nothing to do with simplicity either,” they said. This season’s collection is full of dark garments. “These are our codes, from black to 80 percent black,” they joked.


PRADA
Created by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simmons, Prada presented its latest Fall-Winter 2023.24 collection, exploring the principles of fashion and evaluating its importance and impact in the modern world. It was held at the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada. The Prada FW 2023.24 showcased a collection where simplicity, minimization, comfort, and amplification took centre stage.
The collection showcased assertive, and extreme silhouettes to create a unique and fresh finish. There was a range of military-inspired outwear – slim officer’s coats, peacoats, parkas flight jackets and voluminous bombers. The oversized collars and cardigans were also featured throughout the collection.


GIVENCHY
Givenchy unveiled its latest Fall-Winter Menswear 2023.24 collection, re-evaluating and re-valuing the “archetypes of menswear through the eyes of contemporary masculinities.” Creative Director Matthew M. Williams also “identified an instinctive evolution of sartorial virtues reflected in his own relationship with clothes,”.
Matthew M. Williams also blended formal business with casual. A monochromatic colour palette was emphasized throughout the collection, with splashes of vibrant pinks, greens, and purples. There were lashings of tailoring, cargo trousers transformed into skirts over sweatpants, and tartan kilts that collided with artfully distressed knits.
