Louis Vuitton launched its first Ski Capsule Collection

The iconic Maison took to the snow by launching its first capsule collection entirely dedicated to skiing.

The French Maison presented a dozen pieces, demonstrating that the most valued technicality on snow does not have to be compromised with impeccable design or comfort. Thus, it shaped appetizing down jackets, which feature different prints, from an alpine landscape to a mix of the iconic Monogram with metallic details.

Louis Vuitton’s dedicated skiwear was fully water-resistant and highly elastic to ensure comfort while practising this winter sport. Moreover, each garment in the collection has got a protective interior, numerous pockets and a wide range of practical details to enjoy the snow.

The lining of the jackets is made of a unique recyclable material made from 100% recycled nylon fibres. In addition, Louis Vuitton created a new Flocon logo in the shape of a snowflake, and it appeared everywhere: on the fleece fabric of a gilet, on the lining of a leather jacket, or even on the hood of a puffer jacket in a unique recyclable material made of 100% recycled nylon fibres, fully in line with Louis Vuitton’s creative approach.

In accessories, fox fur mittens and gloves aimed to keep your hands warm this winter. Elsewhere, the woollen Monogram caps, brushed silk and cashmere scarves, and the hats arrive in different colours.

As regards footwear, the brand unveils two boots available in different heights: The Territory and Polar. The skis, which are limited to 200 pieces, are covered with aluminium alloy and feature the house’s iconic Monogram pattern.

“Combining the expertise and craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton and Tecnica, high-tech ski boots have been designed for high performance results.” Posted the brand in LV’s official Instagram account.
