After a long gap of 18 months finally New York city was buzzing with influencers, celebs and designers who flocked to the city for the Fashion Week which was diametrically opposite to what New York usually looks like during the summer, SO MUCH SO that we cannot let go of the spring collection despite what the calendar says. And it is not just us, extravagant shows and experimental street-style seemed like the mandate for designers. While unveiling key pieces and trends for the new upcoming Spring 2023, this time, designers made sure we had plenty to look forward to, and while we definitely spotted seasonal classics on the runway, We also saw plenty of fresh and chic innovative designs we will be wearing in the upcoming season. Plenty of skin on display on the runways was also seen – though the overall interpretation of sexiness was less on-the-nose than it has been in past seasons.

Sequins were truly ‘80s – see Michael Kors’ Spring 2023 show and its Old Hollywood red and black pieces. PatBo and Carolina Herrera surprised us with 3-D floral embroidery, appliqués, and floral-shaped ruffles, turning this trend interesting once again.
