The Burberry ‘Lola Bag’ 2022 Campaign

Bella Hadid, Lourdes Leon, Jourdan Dunn and Ella Richards capture Lola’s irresistible energy and commanding presence in our latest campaign, created with Torso Solutions.

Bella Hadid has appeared in an ad for Burberry’s Lola handbag that has been revealed in a stylish video posted on Instagram. Today Burberry presents its campaign for the Lola bag, a cornerstone of the Maison, designed by Riccardo Tisci. At the heart of every Lola, a model is an attitude: strong, sexy, smart and present.

The campaign featured Hadid and Lourdes Leon (Madonna’s daughter), Jourdan Dunn and Ella Richards on a mechanical horse with the bags.

The campaign has been created in collaboration with Torso Solutions, where Suzanne Koller designed the models’ looks, capturing Lola’s highly functional and energetic attitude from every angle through a unique visual language.

Moreover, the ‘Lola’ style is adorned with the TB logo and polished chain strap, a nod to founder Thomas Burberry’s longstanding brand tradition. “For the campaign, I really wanted to celebrate that attitude and all the facets that make up the Burberry woman, so, together with Torso, we created a fantasy world where she is free to exhibit her strength and be captured in all her beauty from every angle,” said Tisci.

Quilted to present a softly structured body, the ‘Lola bag’ is handmade in Italy and is available in a variety of fabrics, from tan leather to cotton canvas and natural raffia. The collection is available in a variety of new styles and colour schemes, from pale vanilla and camel to natural raffia and black.

In the ad campaign, we can see Bella Hadid taking the reins and wearing the black and white versions. She said, “It’s been amazing working with Riccardo and the Burberry family, and I loved shooting this campaign.” “I always have a great time on set, there was so much energy, and it was great to work with such a mix of incredibly talented people,” added Bella

, recalling that she is a longtime friend of Tisci’s, and a muse for the fashion house since a long time ago.

She has paraded numerous times for the fashion house. In 2020, Bella participated in Burberry’s Spring 2022 campaign, where her sister Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Mona Tougaard also were the muses for the campaign.

The most recent runway show was the Autumn-Winter 2022 show, where the luxury brand showcased its star-studded ready-to-wear collection, which was a celebration of British culture. Bella Hadid loves the friendship she has with Tisci. She said in an interview, “It’s always one of my greatest honours to work with a friend like Riccardo.”
