Kim Kardashian Reunites Four Supermodels for Her Skims’ Campaign

The New SKIMS Fits Everybody” campaign features four former Victoria’s Secret Models, and it’s sparked a conversation about diversity.

Kim Kardashian unveiled the new campaign for the SKIMS “Fits Everybody” line, featuring four former Victoria’s Secret models, which features Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Kardashian selected all the models to star in the campaign as it showcases the “models’ strength, energy, and everlasting allure with imagery that reflects the group’s enduring legacies”.

Banks, Klum, Ambrosio and Swanepoel were among Victoria’s Secret most famous Angels before the brand disbanded the Angels in 2021 and replaced them with slate of ambassadors.

Victoria’s Secret’s decision to get rid of its Angels was just one part of its massive 2021 rebranding, with the company putting out more diverse and inclusive ads and toning down its stores.

Kim Kardashian took to the official SKIMS Instagram page to share a new picture of the iconic models wearing her products.

The businesswoman herself originally wasn’t supposed to appear in any of the promotional pictures, but she wrote on Instagram “OK so I wasn’t supposed to be in this SKIMS campaign but I stopped by and jumped in because it was too iconic. Introducing Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra and Candice wearing our signature SKIMS Fits Everybody collection.” Kim posted on her Instagram profile.

The Icon Campaign celebrated SKIMS Fits Everybody collection, which includes bras, underwear, bodysuits, and loungewear, and its designed to stretch to twice its size, according to the SKIMS website.

“When @KimKardashian called me with the idea to reunite these incredible women and me for @SKIMS, I was intrigued. And here we are! I hadn’t modeled lingerie and undergarments since I retired from the runway, but it was like riding a bike. The poses came back even fiercer than before!” Tyra Banks posted on Instagram after the shoot.

“What a blast it was shooting with @tyrabanks @alessandraambrosio and @candiceswanepoel for the new @skims “Fits Everybody collection.” It has been a while since we were all together so it was so special to be reunited. Thank you @kimkardashian for making it happen,” Heid Klum echoed.

“The posse you never knew you needed…?,” posted the youngest of the group, Candice Swanepoel.
