The Most Daring Beauty Looks During Fashion Month FW 2022

From the jewel-like, folkloric, three-dimensional looks of Simone Rocha to the bold cat eye of Eudon Choi.

As expected, the Fall-Winter 2022 Fashion Month reached an end, bringing the most glamorous beauty looks, which definitely defined the season’s makeup trends.

New York, London, Milan and Paris offered fantastic makeup ideas, from futuristic eye shadows and lip glosses, stunning graphic eyeliners, lust-inducing updos and more experimental, but gorgeous, makeup creations.

When it comes to makeup, bright pink, orange, red and blue eyeshadows were on display at Bronx and Banco, LDN Hardware and Kim Shui. There were also plenty of fresh, natural-looking complexions like at Proenza Schouler. Not to mention more than a fair share of runny eye makeup courtesy of Christian Cowan and Jason Wu. And even dark, vampy lips like Elena Velez’s.

At New York Fashion Week, we got to see makeup mogul Pat McGrath wow with floral-inspired makeup moments backstage at Shayne Oliver. The “human bouquets” saw models’ eyes adorned with petals and lashes laden with pollen across a spectrum of pigments, while skin was kept simple but stunning.

When it came to hair, there really was something for every type and texture. We saw blunt bobs at Proenza Schouler, flirty rope braids at Hardware LDN, beaded embellished parts at Christian Siriano and mid-lengths at PatBo, just to name a few.

In addition, smoky eyes were also a major makeup theme during the Fashion Month season.

Tory Burch opted for a bold red lipstick with a lip brush. Giorgio Armani opted for eyeshadows extended from the eyes to the cheeks, while Alberta Ferretti opted to wear his models with subtly smudged lips.
