It’s time for the 2023 Met Gala! Finally, the most important event in fashion is here. The stars, fashion influencers and best-dressed models hit the mark with their choices. With the Costume Institute’s Spring 2023 exhibition, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” highlighting the late designer’s acclaimed work at Balmain, Patou, Chloé, Fendi, Chanel and his namesake brand, Karl Lagerfeld, the Met Gala 2023 fashion red carpet paid tribute to the late, iconic German designer. For this, guests were asked to “dress in honour of Karl,” wearing an interpretation of some of the creations the “Kaiser of fashion” produced from 1955 to 2019. Some celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Jenna Ortega, Margot Robbie and Gisele Bündchen wore dresses from his Chanel collections.

Held at New York’s iconic Metropolitan Museum, this year’s event was attended by approximately 400 guests from diverse sectors such as fashion, film, music, theatre, sports and technology. Penelope Cruz, Michaela Coel, Dua Lipa, Roger Federer and Bad Bunny were just a few of them. Anne Hathaway stuck to the slogan of paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld on Monday night. In addition to her elegance, the actress stands out for dressing year after year according to what is required. Accompanied by Donatella Versace, the star wore a dress by the designer embroidered with Swarovski crystals and a coin necklace by Bulgari. Simply dreamy!

Emily Ratajkowski was one of the first artists to appear at the MET Gala 2023 to pay homage to Karl Lagerfeld. She wore a pale pink dress by Tory Burch, with a long train and bare shoulders and back.

PARIS HILTON

Paris arrived in a black Marc Jacobs design. “I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful design to grace the red carpet…. Thank you to my friend Marc Jacob and this amazing team who made the magic come to life, you are a visionary,” she commented on her social media.

BAD BUNNY

Bad Bunny, of course, stole the show. The Puerto Rican singer arrived at the event with the style that characterizes him so much, with a high impact off white look that he adorned with a huge floral shawl. Always attentive to the latest trends, he added to his look a mega neckline in the back area.

Jennifer Lopez made a stunning arrival on the Met Gala’s red carpet, wearing a black-and-pink Ralph Lauren gown. The Shotgun Wedding star also wore a black veiled headpiece, long black gloves, a pair of platform shoes, carats diamond studs, a clutch, and a black train attached to the back.

ANNE HATHAWAY

Anne Hathaway looked stunning at the Met Gala 2023. For the occasion, she opted for a custom-designed look from Atelier Versace-inspired by Chanel in tweed fabric, pearl detail, and camellia rose chest and a DNA-bearing story of Legacy Versace.

Supermodel Naomi slayed on the Met Gala’s red carpet as she opted for a Chanel vintage gown from the label’s Spring-Summer 2010 collection. The look featured a pink fabric draped over one shoulder with a shimmery bodice and matching silver trim. She also wore silver heels to complete the look.

Co-chair Roger Federer looked amazing on the Met Gala 2023’s red carpet, wearing a simple yet chic look, which included a sharp black Dior tuxedo, a bow tie, and a pair of sunglasses for a touch of cool.

Dua Lipa looked completely gorgeous at the Met Gala 2023 gala event, exuding royalty, and timeless glamour. For the occasion, she wore a vintage figure-hugging corset bodice designed by Chanel. The dress was originally part of Chanel’s fall-winter 1992 collection and featured a low neckline, plus a full skirt with pockets and trimmed in tassels.
