“Emily in Paris” Season Three Is On Its Way!
The hit show has confirmed it will return for a third and fourth season. Here’s everything we know so far about season three.
One of the most beloved romantic comedy series is definitely “Emily in Paris”. With the premiere of the first season, it was an immediate international success. The first two seasons were among the top 10 most-watched series worldwide. After the success of the second season, Netflix decided to continue the story with the third and fourth seasons.
Showrunner Darren Star is in charge of producing “Emily in Paris”, which tells the story of a college graduate, Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), who moves from Chicago to Paris to work as an aspiring marketing executive for the French company Savoir. This experience allows her to navigate different cultures, learn a new language (or try to) meet people and her love life.
Throughout the second season, Emily finds herself in a love triangle. She meets Gabriel, her downstairs neighbour and head chef, and falls in love with him. But Gabriel has a girlfriend, Camille, who later becomes Emily’s friend. Then, Emily meets Alfie, an English banker who attends Emily’s French class. They meet and fall in love after Emily and Gabriel break off their romantic relationship.
In this upcoming season, Emily also makes great strides at work, while in the season finale, Sylvie resigns with plans to open her own marketing firm and invites Emily to join the team. Alfie leaves Paris and returns to London. The long-distance relationship with Alfie doesn’t work out, and Emily ends up expressing her love for Gabriel. In the finale, Gabriel returns with Camile. Emily doesn’t know what to do, and the series leaves us with a cliffhanger as Emily has to decide whether to stay in Paris or not.

‘Emily in Paris Season 3’: Plot
The official synopsis for season three reads as follows, “A year after moving from Chicago to Paris for her dream job, Emily finds herself at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life. Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie – at work and in her romantic life – and what those decisions mean for her future in France. “Emily finds herself at a crossroads during the third season regarding her love life and career. She will also have to make important decisions regarding her love triangle with Alfie and Gabriel.
And this synopsis ends like this: “All while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.” Which means Emily’s stay in Paris will lead to more adventures, for sure.
In an interview, Lilly Collins commented, “Season 3 gives the other characters a chance to develop their characters.” It seems that for this upcoming season, “Emily in Paris” will focus on the supporting characters, as they will have the opportunity to grow.
‘Emily in Paris Season 3’: The Cast
Emily in Paris Season three will see returning characters and new characters. Emily Cooper (performed by Lilly Collins) continues to be the main character. Aspiring singer Mindy Chen (performed by Ashley Park), Emily’s best friend, returns again.
We will also see Alfie as Lucien Laviscount, the English banker who is in French class with Emily and who is Emily’s love interest. Lucas Bravo, as Gabriel, returns as Emily’s chef, neighbor, and lover. Leroy Beaulieu repeats the role of Sylvie, Emily’s boss at Le Savoir.
Camille Razat returns as Camille, Gabriel’s girlfriend. Bruno Gueri, Samuel Arnold and William Abadi also return as Luc, Julien and Anthony. In October 2022, Netflix announced two new guest stars for season 3: Paul Foreman as Nicholas de Leon and Melia Kreiling as Sophia Sideris.

Emily in Paris Season 3 will arrive on December 21, 2022, completing Netflix’s Christmas lineup.
