The awards show officially begins, and we couldn’t be more excited to see our favourite celebrities in their finery. The 13th Annual Governors Awards took place this past weekend. Hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the ceremony honoured some winners selected by the Academy’s Board of Governors. The awards went to Michael J. Fox, director Yojan Parsi and composer Diane Warren.
A host of established and emerging stars also attended the red carpet event, including Margot Robbie in a green silk gown by Bottega Veneta and Jennifer Lawrence and Taylor Russell in Dior and Schiaparelli respectively. Cate Blanchett took an eco-friendly approach to her red carpet style with a stunning Alexander McQueen look that she had already worn on other red carpets. Viola Davis opted for a Christopher John Rogers gown.

Florence Pugh wore a sheer white dress designed by Victoria Beckham. The dress featured silk panels and glistening metallic polka dots.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE
Jennifer Lawrence opted for a simple styling look. She wore a black tulle embroidered dress by Dior Spring 2023 collection, which featured spaghetti straps.

ANA DE ARMAS
Ana de Armas opted for a Louis Vuitton design, which featured a backless style and a delicately embellished skirt. She completed the look with jewellery from Louis Vuitton, too.

EDDIE REDMAYNE
Eddie Redmayne arrived at the 2022 Governors Awards’ red carpet wearing a black silk suit by Alexander McQueen. He finished the look with a silver flower brooch on his lapel.

Olivia Wilde stunned on the red carpet wearing a layered tulle Erdem gown with a netted train. She paired the look with sheer opera gloves and Mikimoto jewellery.
